The chip maker Nvidia announced the development of an autonomous truck, jointly with the manufacturer Paccar.
Paccar is a manufacturer of trucks, known under the brands Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF. Recently the company introduced a concept of an autonomous truck, which runs on Nvidia technologies.
Nvidia, which is famous worldwide mainly due to the graphics chips in recent years has slightly changed its direction, and today it also develops systems for autonomous cars. These systems, for example are also used in Tesla cars.
Fast-growing market of Autonomous vehicles draws the attention of other technology companies such as Google and Qualcomm.
Earlier this week we also reported the deal worth $15.3 billion, between Intel and an Israeli Mobileye, which is specialized in the development of autonomous systems.
