In January, for the first time in three years the Eurozone registered a trade deficit. 19 members of the block recorded a deficit of 0.6 billion euros. Export of those countries rose by 13% to 163.9 billion euros, but it was imbalanced by increased imports, which rose 17% to 164.5 billion euros. Last year, exports showed a stable trend, while its volume totaled 2 trillion euros. Import, in turn, compared to 2015 fell 2%.
