The last stage of preparations for the launch of the first cargo spacecraft Tiango-1 is underway in China. The spacecraft itself and its carrier are waiting for their launch at a place dedicated for this.
The transportation took about two and a half hours. Now they are undergoing the final test. According to foreign media, the launch will take place between 20 and 24 April.
The main objective of Tango-1, which means "heavenly vessel" is to provide future space programs of China with necessary cargo. Its capacity is up to 5 tons.
China is planning to build its own space station by 2022.
