The Belt and Road Initiative originates from China, but it belongs to the world, said Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Belt and Road construction spans different regions, development phases and civilizations. It is an open and inclusive cooperation platform and a global public product forged jointly by different parties. Focusing on Eurasia, it opens to all like-minded friends and doesn't exclude nor target any single party.

In conclusion of his speech, the President said that the silk road is not only aimed at expanding economic cooperation, but also on joint strengthening of cultural and humanitarian relations in the tourism industry, as the route of the Great silk Road includes a number of cities with a millennial history and rich culture, including such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva.
