As previously reported, the Uzbek Foreign Minister will have a direct dialogue with his fellow citizens on July 5.
The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Moscow organized a mobile reception in Astrakhan region of Russia within preparation for the forthcoming direct dialogue.
There were meetings with compatriots including permanently resident citizens, labor migrants as well as student youth studying in higher educational institutions of Astrakhan. Various issues were discussed, including those related to the prevention of illegal migration, human trafficking, religious extremism and involvement in terrorist activities. Necessity of strict observance of the laws of the host country, careful treatment of their documents has been underlined.
51 documents on various issues related to citizenship, registration of certificates of return, birth certificates were accepted for further processing during the mobile consular reception.
The diplomats also visited temporary detention center for foreign citizens in Astrakhan, where they met with the leadership of this institution as well as Uzbek citizens residing there and got acquainted with the conditions of their detention. As a result of negotiations with the administration of the institution, an agreement was reached to simplify the mechanisms of interaction when processing documents of detained citizens.
Earlier while solving the tasks defined by the State Program "Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests, representatives of the embassy held mobile receptions in Rostov Region and Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.
In the near future, according to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, it is planned to organize the departure of employees of the consular department to other Russian regions remote from Moscow.
