A 2 magnitude earthquake shook Tashkent and other cities of Uzbekistan at 11.35 p.m. on 2 February.
The epicentre lay 204 kilometres west of Tashkent, on the territory of the Djizzak Region, according to Uzbekistan’s Seismology Institute (40.59 N, 67.07 E). The earthquake was 4.2-magnitude strong at the epicentre.
Slight tremors could be felt as the earthquake continued. No damages or injuries have been reported.
