UZMOBILE National mobile operator held a press-conference to inform journalists about its latest innovations.
In accordance with the Action Strategy of five priority directions of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, this year the operator will put into operation 1500 new base stations throughout the country, most of which will be set up in rural areas.
Quality assessment and continuous monitoring of provided communication services on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is one of the key tasks of the company. Therefore, UZMOBILE implemented a mobile laboratory project on the basis of a measuring equipment complex intended for testing the quality of communication services, within which regular measurements and testing of the quality of services in UZMOBILE CDMA / GSM networks throughout the country are carried out.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed with the Center for Development of Electronic Government System, "Communication with the People" service was introduced which allows subscribers to get free access to 80 websites of government agencies. It should be noted that from the date of introduction of "Communication with the People" service, the number of visitors to state websites exceeded 250 thousand and provided traffic volume made up about 300 thousand MB.
The operator also plans to launch a new product that provides preferential access to the resources of ZiyoNet educational network, whose goal is to create a single safe and useful Internet space for younger generation. This service will help to ensure young people's access to educational resources and safe content.
The operator is also implementing the project "Wi-Fi BUS" in conjunction with "TOSHSHAHARTRANSXIZMAT" JSC to provide the population with free Internet in shuttle buses in Tashkent city.
