In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 12, 2017, Jamol Makhsudov was appointed Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Jamol Makhsudov was born in 1972 in Peshkun district of Bukhara region. In 1994 he graduated from Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications in "Telecommunications Engineer" specialty, continued his postgraduate studies and five years later received his Ph.D.
In 1996-1997 he worked as a leading engineer of planning, modernization and development of communication networks of "Uzbektelecom". In 2000-2002 he was chief specialist of consultative group of "Uzimpeksaloka" JSC.
Prior to 2008, he held the post of the head of the department of information technologies and services of Uzbek Agency for Communication and Informatization.
He worked as first deputy general director of JSC "Uzbektelecom" since 2008, later he moved to the position of director of the branch "Center for Telecommunications and Personnel Development" of "Uzbektelecom".
